Profile verification is essential for both the user and the driver to enhance the safety, trustworthiness, and reliability of the carpooling service. To initiate the verification process, users must submit a picture of their document and a selfie. Here is the video link for the verification process : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM_l16lUZNs . The verification can be done by following methods:
A) Camera/gallery upload
B) Digilocker
Any of the following documents can be used to verify the profile :
1) Aadhaar card
2) Pan card
3) Passport
4) Voter ID
A) Verification process through Camera/gallery upload:
A.1) Verification of documents through phone Camera:
To initiate the verification through the camera, users must upload a picture of their document and a selfie. Follow the steps below for document verification through the camera:
Step 1: Open " profile " by clicking on the profile tab.
Step 2: Click on " View profile " .
Step 3: Select " Profile verification " under the My Profile tab.
Step 4: Select " Document verification ". A dialogue box will pop up.
Step 5: In the dialogue box select the method of verification "Choose from Camera/gallery".
Step 6: In the dialogue box select the document you want to use for verification.
Step 7: Select "Capture photo"
Step 8: Click the picture of the document as described on the page and click on submit/upload.
Note: For certain documents like Aadhaar cards etc. the front and backside are required. The system would automatically prompt you to upload the Front or back side of the document in the specified order.
Step 9: After uploading the documents, take a selfie and upload as instructed on the next page.
Step 10: The system will verify your information and display your details such as name, document ID, etc. Click on Submit.
Congratulations! Your documents are now verified and you can commence finding a pool for your next ride.
A.2) Uploading documents through the phone gallery:
To initiate the verification by uploading documents through the phone gallery, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Follow the steps from Step 1 - Step 5 for Camera upload.
Step 2: Select " Upload from gallery"
Note: For certain documents like Aadhaar cards etc. the front and backside are required. The system would automatically prompt you to upload the Front or back side of the document in the specified order.
Step 3: Select the documents from the phone gallery and click on " Use this photo" after confirming.
Step 4: After uploading the documents, take a selfie and upload as instructed on the next page and click on "Submit". ( For reference, follow Step 8 and Step 9 of verification through camera upload)
B) Verification process through Digilocker:
After Following the steps of "verification through the Camera" from Step 1 to Step 3, follow the further steps below:
Step 4: In the dialogue box, select " Verify using Digilocker".
Step 5: Enter your Aadhaar number and authenticate using OTP.
Step 6: Login to Digilocker and select the document user wants to use for authentication.
Step 7: Click on " Allow "
Step 8: Click a selfie and click on submit. ( Refer to Step 8 of "Verification through phone Camera")
Congratulations! Your documents are now verified and you can commence finding a pool for your next ride.
If for any reason the system cannot verify your documents, the Togopool system administrator will manually review and verify them. In such cases, you need to re-upload the documents under the "Documents verification" Tab. Once the documents are uploaded, please allow a few days for the system administrator to review and verify your documents. In case of any issues, feel free to drop an email at [email protected].
Note: Please ensure the uploaded images are visibly clear. In case of any discrepancies or unclear images, the documents will be rejected, and the user will be required to re-upload them.
