The preferences can be configured for both the Ride taker and Ride giver. The steps to do are as follows:
1) Go to your profile by clicking on it in the side menu.
2) Within the profile menu, choose the " Preferences " option.
3) Adjust your preferences according to your role, whether you are a Ride Giver or a Ride Taker, by navigating to the respective tabs.
